I am a Ph.D. student working under Dr. Sarah Brosnan in the Cognitive Sciences program at Georgia State University. I am interested in studying the group dynamics of decision-making and the problem solving abilities within and between species and social groups. I am also interested in researching hormones as they relate to different social behaviors in non-human primates.

Before coming to GSU, I received my B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. I performed research under Drs. Kenneth and Catherine Lohmann on the geomagnetic sensing abilities of loggerhead sea turtles. In addition to my research on sea turtle navigation, I have also studied captive animal welfare and the adaptive traits of Venus flytraps.
